Description

SRA International has an exciting opportunity for a Bilingual (Spanish) Health Help Desk Specialist to work in a call center environment in our Rockville office for the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) contract in our Rockville office.


The Bilingual Health Help Desk Specialist will provide support to the outreach unit responding to public inquiries received via telephone, e-mail, mail or fax. The HIS is also responsible for logging these inquiries into a tracking database and performing other administrative tasks as needed. Inquiries range from providing program information/referrals, fulfilling publication requests, to providing assistance to individuals using our online reporting system and/or online analysis search tool.

• Responding to inquiries received via phone, fax, e-mail and mail.
• Processing publication/information requests via fax, e-mail and mail.
• Logging inquiries in a database for tracking.

Requirements

Required Skills:


Bilingual (Spanish) is required
• Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills including strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Ability to follow scripted responses and protocols.
• Ability to use MS Office applications (Access, Excel, Outlook and Word).
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
• Good people skills, attention to detail, professional demeanor, maturity.
• Administrative and/or customer service experience.
• Health Care experience is a plus.
• Ability to work within a team setting.


Desired skills:


Associate's degree desired; Experience receiving incoming calls in a Call Center setting and familiarity with health-related topics desired.
